About the Role
Hollywood Private Hospital is seeking an experienced Clinical Coder to join our expanding Health Information Services team. As a Clinical Coder, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate abstraction and assignment of inpatient episodes.
About You
To be a successful candidate you will have:
Experience coding independently in a tertiary or secondary hospital
Completion of a recognised Coding course or equivalent
Strong understanding of casemix and Diagnosis Related Groups (DRG)
Demonstrated good understanding of anatomy, physiology, diseases, and pathological processes.
Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement activities.
Remuneration: Salary commensurate with experience
