The Organisation
The Service assists individuals, families and carers of all ages with mental illness and/or substance use and ensures the care provided is: “person-centred, recovery-oriented, evidence-based and inclusive of family and carers”. Care is delivered through multidisciplinary teams that can comprehensively address consumer needs and consistently work on establishing and building sustainable partnerships with non-government organisations and local general practitioners to ensure continuity of care.
The Job
- As the Clinical Director of Mental Health and Specialised Services, you will deliver high-quality clinical and non-clinical leadership and direction to benefit patients
- You will influence beyond the traditional boundaries of a single service/organisation and work with multi-professional stakeholder groups
- As a Clinical Director, you will champion greater engagement of patients with research studies and programs to deliver improved outcomes in patient care
- You will be responsible and accountable for effective leadership, high-level operational management, and clinical expertise
- You will lead and shape the medical workforce to play a full and effective role in Mental Health and Specialised Services, the organisation, and the broader health system
- You will participate in the on-call roster to provide after-hours services
