We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Clinical Documentation Specialist to manage ANACC operations and mentor the care team in documentation requirements. Our state of the art, 144 bed, aged care residence based in Tamworth is scheduled to open in March 2024 and already has unprecedented resident interest.
Reporting to the GM Funding, this role is responsible for managing all aspects of ANACC including assessment of new residents, identifying potential uplifts in a timely manner, applying for uplifts, managing DoH correspondence, coaching staff on good assessment writing principles, providing orientation to ANACC assessors, generating reports etc.
Skills, knowledge and experience needed:
- 2 years recent experience as an ACFI Coordinator or similar role (desirable)
- Have a comprehensive working knowledge of the new AN-ACC funding model.
- Excellent documentation skills and demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships
- Sound computer skills and proficiency using a Clinical Documentation system
- Current AHPRA (RN) registration is essential
- Willingness to learn and coach others
