Job description

Why work when you can play!

At OTFC Group, you’re not just an Occupational Therapist
You’re an obstacle course architect,
A fun facilitator,
A superhero trainer,
An artist,
A mentor,
A friend & confidant,
A life changer.

OTFC Group have been leading the way with occupational therapy for children for over 30 years. Our facilities are custom-built and designed to make our clients – and you! – feel like they’re playing.

We are looking for a Clinical Lead (a cross between an Occupational Therapist, a brand ambassador, an educator, a public speaker, a motivator, a leader, a numbers junkie and a negotiator) with a passion for paediatric and adolescent occupational therapy to join our growing South Australian practices. This is a full-time role available to someone with assessment, therapy and leadership experience who will come to work with a growth mindset every day and inspire the next generation of leaders to create life-changing fun.

Why OTFC Group?

We’re not just about talk, we’re about action. As an employee of OTFC Group, you will get:

  • Flexibility: a work week that can come in all shapes and sizes to support your lifestyle goals
  • Growth: opportunities to grow and develop your skills, with pathways for further progression
  • Autonomy: lead innovation and execution of solutions and services that will benefit our clients and your local community
  • Fun: Regular team incentives, celebrations, and events
  • Support: Frequent clinical supervision, PD opportunities, and comprehensive support from Clinical Director and HQ Team

Benefits to help you thrive in your personal life:

  • A bonus scheme on top of your base salary when your site hits their KPI's
  • An inclusive parental leave policy
  • An annual Vibe & Thrive allowance to support your wellness and social connection
  • Complimentary EAP program
  • Access free workshops that will transform your life (financial, wellbeing, fitness, and more)

What you will do in the role:

  • Lead a team of Occupational Therapists in a purpose-built sensory clinic.
  • We do not guess—we assess. Part of your role is conducting initial assessments and meet-and-greets to help determine the right therapy plan and to oversee this at your site.
  • Engage with the local community and form partnerships to spread the word about what we do and the life-changing impact we can have.
  • Provide professional development to local ELCs, Kindergartens and Schools.
  • Provide therapy to meet the needs of children in the areas of Autism, motor skills, sensory and emotional regulation, executive functioning, and self-care.
  • Liaise directly with clinical staff both formally (supervision) and informally. On that - you will receive significant supervision and support from the clinical and operations team!
  • Bring to life new and innovative projects led by community need.
  • Drive and build a thriving culture which has the wellbeing of our people at the heart of all decisions
  • Support with the roll-out of new processes and procedures to improve service delivery and business performance
  • Work with the Practice Manager to oversee and manage the site

You’re a match if you:

  • Hold a Bachelor / Master of Occupational Therapy (or equivalent)
  • Are registered as an Occupational Therapist with AHPRA
  • Love to play!
  • Hold a current Working with Children and NDIS Worker & Disability Clearance
  • Have demonstrated leadership, assessment and therapy skills.

It’s a bonus if:

  • You’re certified in Ayres Sensory Integration Therapy – but don’t worry, we have you covered if you aren't.
  • have supervised students or other OTs previously
  • have your own car and can drive
  • love talking to people
