Details: This Clinical Leadership position will contribute to the leadership of the Allied Health Service (AHS). The AHS includes Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Social Workers, Speech Pathologists and Allied Health Assistants. The AHS works with schools to deliver quality services to benefit students who are experiencing difficulty connecting to school and engaging with education.
The Clinical Leader will have the opportunity to contribute to growth and re-establishment of Physiotherapy services in the Directorate as well as the development, implementation and evaluation of programs which support schools to make reasonable adjustments to ensure students are accessing and participating in learning activities.
Eligibility/Other requirements:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Physiotherapy
- Prior to commencing this role, a current registration issued under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011 is required. For further information on Working with Vulnerable People registration refer to - Working with vulnerable people (WWVP) registration (act.gov.au)
- Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency.
- ACT driver’s license and use of own vehicle for work purposes
Note: This is a temporary position available immediately for six months with the Possibility of extension up to 12 months. This position is part-time at 14:70 hours per week and the full-time salary noted above will be pro-rata.
A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only.
