About the role
The Clinical Midwife Consultant holds a key role within the Women’s and Children’s Program that provides support to the Program Director, Midwifery Managers and Midwifery staff across all areas of Midwifery Practice - Antenatal Clinic, Birthing Suite (including Foetal Monitoring) and Postnatal.
The Clinical Midwife Consultant practices within the Eastern Health policies and procedures and demonstrates superior consolidated clinical skills. This position will contribute to and drive Clinical Midwifery service delivery and direction, clinical quality and risk, service performance and care standards within the area of responsibility.
About you
To be successful in this role you will possess:
- Current Midwifery registration with AHPRA
- Masters qualifications in Midwifery
- Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience
- A strong commitment to high quality care
- The ability to work as part of a diverse team
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
