Mater Mothers Hospital is looking for a Clinical Midwifery Consultant - Birthing Suites to join the team. This permanent, full-time role will be based at our South Brisbane campus.
The Mater Mothers' Hospital (MMH) Birthing Services is a tertiary level service providing family centred care to both private and public women with either uncomplicated or complicated pregnancies. The service is inclusive of a 15 bed Birth Suite and a 13 bed Pregnancy Assessment Centre (PAC) & Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit (EPAU) and Perioperative Midwifery Service.
Salary range: $59.87 - $67.21 (RN/M level 3) per hour plus superannuation and salary packaging
What you'll be doing
Clinical Midwifery Consultant - Birthing Suites at Mater Health Services practice within the relevant Standards for Nurses/Midwives as per the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and other legislation, standards and codes that can impact or inform the evidence-based practice of Nursing/Midwifery and are accountable for their own practice.

About you
You will hold a Bachelor of Midwifery or dual degree Nursing/Midwifery and have current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia. You will also have a minimum of five years full time experience in specific clinical specialty including experience as a Clinical Midwife or other leadership role.
