The Opportunity
Joining the team on our Cardiac Cath Lab, you will work in the largest private cardiac centre on the Gold Coast and have access to some of the latest in cardiac technology.
We operate 2 Cardiac Catheter Labs performing Coronary Intervention, Electrophysiology, Cardiac Rhythm Management, Structural Heart, Peripheral Vascular and Interventional Radiology procedures.

Key Role Accountabilities
- Act of a professional resource and positive role model for the team
- Responsible for a portfolio within the team, you will preceptor new staff and conduct a minimum of 2 education sessions per year
- Contribute to the mandatory assessment of competencies and appraisals of your designated team of RN’s, Radiographer’s and Theatre technicians.
- Assist with audits and, incident investigations and policy and procedure updates.
Your Key Skills and Experience
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Nurse in an acute care setting
- Proven expertise in Cardiac Cath Lab
- Demonstrate excellent time management, clinical problem solving and organisational skills
- A passion for mentoring junior team members and positively influencing their performance
- Post graduate qualification in specialty area desirable but not essential
Remuneration
A base hourly rate ranging from $52.86 - $56.83 + superannuation, based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (QLD CN/CM Level 2)
