The Safeguards Team is a new dedicated Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) resource providing innovative and best practice care to children and adolescents aged 0-17 years experiencing acute mental health distress. Providing expert Nursing clinical organisation, coordination leadership and consultancy services within the Safeguard Service team which is community based and will provide rapid, mobile, intensive and flexible short term delivery of skilled evidence based interventions to resolve mental health crisis both in the community and acute facilities.
If you have:
- Proven clinical expertise and leadership skills in Child and Adolescent Mental Health nursing and an ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary framework within a mixed clinical environment
- Demonstrated ability to implement changes and develop direction in clinical practice by the initiation, utilisation and review of evidence based research
- Demonstrated leadership in strategic and clinical service planning and experience and expertise in the management of organisational and cultural change
- Proven advanced skills in clinical teaching, competency in the use of contemporary information systems and evidence of the ability to direct the development, implementation and evaluation of specialty education programs
