The Clinical Nurse will participate as a member of the Mental Health Team in providing comprehensive Mental Health assessment, case management, intervention or group work as required within a multidisciplinary framework.
The position is responsible for ensuring the implementation of individual assessment, diagnosis, treatment, follow up, multidisciplinary consultation, liaison with referring agents, discharge planning and evaluation of care using appropriate outcome and data measurement systems.
Generous remuneration package value up to $128,435 p.a. comprising:
- Salary range of $104,816 to $112,236 p.a. (Nurse Grade 6 Band 1)
- Annual leave with 17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation.

Requirements
- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent certification relevant to the position is mandatory.
- Proof of qualification, registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and possession of a current practising certificate.
- Highly Desirable: Postgraduate qualifications relevant to the position or working towards a relevant qualification.
- Highly Desirable:
- Credentialed status (or willingness to undertake and complete the requirements) with the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses.
- Possession of or working towards a relevant post-registration and/or tertiary qualifications in Mental Health nursing would be well regarded
- While not mandatory, eligibility for appointment as an Authorised Mental Health Practitioner (AMHP) under the Mental Health Act 2016 would be well regarded.
- Drivers Licence: This position requires the incumbent to operate a class C motor vehicle and an appropriate license endorsement to operate this vehicle is required. Proof of this endorsement must be provided prior to the commencement of duty.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) risk role: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and Pertussis.
