About the ROLE
In this role you will be responsible for the provision of high quality and consumer focused nursing using a wide range of nursing skills to care for a variety of patients as part of a supportive and passionate multidisciplinary team.
This is a rewarding and interesting role where you will:
- Provide evidence-based advanced nursing care relevant to the practice setting and is accountable for the delegation of care in accordance with the NMBA Decision-Making Framework.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary team and family meetings to ensure a high standard of consumer focused, evidence-based care delivery, safe and timely discharge and coordinated patient reviews.
- Undertake the function of hospital coordinator when no Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) or CNM-After Hours is present, including the implementation of management strategies, forward resource (human and equipment) planning and appropriate escalation of care or concern for support.
