About the role
This position is for an experienced Registered Nurse who will serve as a clinical and not professional expert in patient care and problem-solving within the clinical setting.
The Clinical Nurse will:
- Educate new graduates and inexperienced staff
- Participate in department orientation, training sessions and clinical programs
- Offer support and guidance to junior team members.
- Part takes in quality improvement within the anaesthetic department
- Participation in a portfolio
Flexibility to work various shifts, including afternoons and evenings, is essential, is essential for this role.
Your Skills and Experience
- Minimum three (3) years post-grad clinical experience
- Relevant registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Passionate about mentoring, with demonstrated leadership to lead and support our team.
- Proven ability to always act as a positive role model and as a professional
- Postgraduate qualification(s) in a relevant perioperative speciality (preferred)
Remuneration: On offer is base hourly rate ranging from $52.86 - $56.83 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (QLD Clinical Nurse/Midwife Level 2 gr1-gr4) [$104,451.36 - $112,296.08]
