About the role:

An exciting and very unique opportunity presents itself for a dedicated Pharmacist to join our wonderful Southport team at HPS Pharmacies.

This role is a Permanent Full Time 38 hour per week (Mon - Fri), working as a Clinical Oncology Pharmacist.  This position will be based around Clinically reviewing Oncology orders and ordering Oncology medications. 

There is huge potential for this position to became a senior leadership role within 6 - 12 months

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct Oncology medication order reviews
  • Prepare Oncology Medication orders to meet demands 
  • Contribute to a multi-disciplinary team in providing patient centred care and expert professional knowledge
  • Clinical liaison with the relevant hospital wards and clinics
  • Assist with business and process improvement.

About you:

  • Current AHPRA Pharmacy Registration 
  • Membership with a Professional Indemnity Insurance provider
  • Advanced oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of hospital staff
  • A high level of attention to detail and precision in record keeping
  • The ability to organise complex tasks and solve problems
  • A patient-centric mindset, with strong interpersonal skills and a positive can-do attitude
  • A desire to learn and thrive in a rapidly evolving industry
  • A vibrant personality and excellent Verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, and collaborative team environment
  • Current Covid-19 vaccinations as per Public Health Orders​​​​
  • Current flu vaccination
