Based in Darwin, this role offers the chance to remain connected to your profession, whilst having a broader impact on services in the region.

Patches has clinics across Australia in Perth, Hedland, Broome, Darwin and Melbourne. As our Darwin Team Leader, you’d split your time 50:50 (clinical caseload and leadership/management of the team). There is the opportunity for this to be adjusted as the team and services grow. In the meantime, you have the support of and as much contact as needed from the corporate team in Perth and the wider Team Leader group across the country.

Position Overview:

As Team Leader you’ll contribute to mentoring and coaching of a multidisciplinary team of clinicians (including allied health assistants, psychologists, physiotherapists, speech pathologists and occupational therapists), provide leadership and develop a positive culture, deliver clinical excellence and work closely with other business units.

Who would the role suit:

This role is great for someone who is wanting to develop in the allied health field and has a passion for business development to get more services out to those who need it. We're looking for someone who can work in a dynamic, agile environment; someone who is driven and excited by new opportunities and their ability to contribute to and influence outcomes. You'll be comfortable with potentially delivering a therapy sessions in the morning, followed by mentoring a new employee, followed by meeting with stakeholders to launch a new programme.

Requirements:

• Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written skills

• Experience in a leadership or management role

• Ability to build relationships with community stakeholders

• Highly developed organisational skills

• Willingness to work within a growing, dynamic multidisciplinary team

• 5-10 years clinical experience as an Allied Health clinician

• Experience in the disability sector and/or NDIS

• Knowledge of finance reporting, service projections and service planning

• NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children’s Check, current Police Cert and Australian Driver’s License
