THE ROLE
We are looking for an energetic and passionate Clinical Account Manager to join the national team. You will be responsible for developing and retaining long-term, strategic relationships with these business partners. You will offer professional, clinical advice and technical expertise to both staff and customers, presenting to key stakeholders ranging from therapists to nurses and business owners. There is a lot of opportunity to grow the existing hospital channel through sales of capital equipment across the territory. There is strong focus in this role on the Hand Therapy and OT market. You will be responsible for:
- Having a passion for building strong, trusted relationships with customers
- Provide clinical education to customers in NSW and Queensland whilst managing and selling into account in the West of Sydney
- Promote the company products, educate and support customers to ensure customer satisfaction and correct use of products
- Develop sales and territory management plans in conjunction with the National Sales Manager to ensure maximum market impact.
- Conduct visits to build relationships with existing and prospective customers and introduce our products, and the benefits to create demand for products.
- Develop partnerships with accounts, driving better results for end user
- Provide clinical support and/or education to customers regarding products
- Work to a call plan and utilise CRM functions to strategize future opportunities
- Working collaboratively with team members to provide clinical support/product training
- Experienced Hospital Account Manager - Medical Devices or Consumables, background in OT or Hand therapy would be highly regarded
- Ability to work autonomously, but also a team player within the business both locally and nationally
- Resilient and adaptable to change
- Bachelors Health/Science Degree will be a distinct advantage
- Experienced Occupational Therapist of Hand Therapist
- Having a strong understanding of the anatomy of the hand and upper limb is preferred but not mandatory
- Clinical background or hospital sales experience selling in a similar area
- Strong communicator and understanding of hospital environment to determine relevant Key Decision Makers
- Understanding the private and public hospital system, and the procurement/supply process
- Ability to identify and develop new opportunities
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Ability to communicate technical and clinical information to a variety of external stakeholders
- Willingness to travel overnight where required plus regionally and attend sales conferences locally and interstate.
- Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Current Driver's licence
