Clinical Trials Associate (CTA) is specialist role supporting the fast paced
Clinical Trials team with biological sample processing, trial equipment maintenance and operational support with trial documentation. The broad and varied CTA role will report to the
Clinical Trials Associate Manager. Some of the key accountabilities of the role are to:Process, store and ship biological samples collected from
Clinical Trial patients and oversee processing of samples on your allocated trials by other staffDevelop strong relationships with sponsors, couriers and central labs to facilitate safe shipment and viability of samplesMaintain lab consumable stock levelsLiaise with pathology centres to arrange shipment of archived tissue samplesCollect and maintain paperwork documenting
Clinical Trials according to strict regulationsEnsure maintenance of
Clinical Trial equipmentMaintain GCP compliant
Clinical Trial documentationProvide administrative support as required

About UsThe is part of the Faculty of Medicine, Health and Human Sciences (FMHHS) at Macquarie University. FMHHS also has the Macquarie Medical School, the Macquarie University Private Hospital, and runs patient clinics, labs, imaging and a pharmacy all on campus in close proximity to support
Clinical Trials, and support providing patients with access to state of the art treatments. The CTU undertakes sponsored and investigator initiated Phase I to IV trials across multiple therapeutic areas with multiple Principal Investigators.
