Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) is responsible for providing primary and secondary health care for people living in the Auburn, Blacktown, and The Hills Shire, Holroyd and Parramatta Local Government Areas (LGAs) and tertiary care to residents of the Greater Western Region. What you'll be doing
The primary purpose of this position is to facilitate and coordinate specific research activity under the direction of the Trial Manager and the Director of the Renal Clinical Trial Unit. These trials include fully sponsored Pharmaceutical trials, Collaborative Group trials and Investigator driven trials. The trials incorporate pre-dialysis and dialysis patients from Westmead, Blacktown and Auburn Hospitals.
The role assists in the targeted recruitment as defined in the clinical trial agreement, perform protocol related activities, data collection and data entry, collection of all adverse events and maintenance of essential documentation. By providing patients access to Clinical Trials, this role may improve patient care and health outcomes in the future.
