    • Second Classification - RNC/M2 - Registered Nurse/Midwife LV 1 - $84,870 to $107,279
  • Employment Full time/Part time - Term Contract (temporary up to April 2025)

Overview

The Women's & Children's Health Network provides state of the art health care for women, babies, children and young people across South Australia.  We are the state's leading provider of specialist care for children with acute and chronic conditions as well as being SA's largest maternity and obstetric service. 

Our community-based services also reach hundreds of thousands of babies, children and young people, their families and communities across South Australia through our various services and programs in areas such as our Mental Health, Child & Family Health services, Youth Health and Aboriginal Health services.

The Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) is a free community-based tertiary mental health service provided through the WCHN across South Australia, providing care to those with severe and/or complex mental health needs. CAMHS provides services to: infants / children / young people up to 18 (16 in some areas) for community, statewide and hospital-based services for perinatal women.

The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity exists within CAMHS to join us as CAMHS Clinician (Social Worker/Occupational Therapist/Clinical Psychologist/Clinician Nurse) on a full-time, 12-month contract.

The CAMHS Clinician is responsible for:

  • Provide high quality mental health services for children, adolescents and their families that are culturally sensitive or safe, flexible and meets the needs of a diverse population.
  • Working in partnership with consumers, carers and external agencies within a developmental context.
  • Providing a range of specialist, evidence-based interventions that address the mental health needs of children, young people and their families.
  • Collaborating with other members of the multi-disciplinary team and key stakeholders to identify community needs, plan, implement and evaluate mental health services to address the mental health needs of children, youth and their families.
