  • Salary: $86,950 - $100,729 p.a. (pro rata) AHP2 or $84,970 - $107,279 p.a. (pro rata) RN2C 
  • 22.5 hours p.w. till 18 October 2024

The Statewide Eating Disorder Service (SEDS) is an innovative mental health facility dedicated to providing outstanding care to individuals throughout South Australia who are grappling with Eating Disorders, including Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, and Other Specified Feeding or Eating Disorders (OSFED). Our services encompass inpatient care, a Day Program, outpatient clinics, and adjunct group programs, all delivered by a highly skilled multidisciplinary team.

About the Role:

As a member of the Statewide Eating Disorder Service, the SEDS Clinician or SEDS Adolescent Clinician assumes a pivotal role in providing direct clinical care to a dedicated client group. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Conducting care planning and clinical review sessions.
  • Conducting psycho-social and mental health assessments.
  • Contributing to the facilitation of the Day Programme.
  • Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to the unique needs of clients.
  • Delivering training and supervision to relevant mental health service members.
  • Ensuring continuity of care and support for clients across mental health and broader health and social systems.

To be successful in this role, you will need: 

  • Demonstrated experience and proficiency in working with individuals experiencing Eating Disorders or related mental health conditions.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous education.

Please note that this position is multi-classed as either a AHP2 or RN2C; classification will be determined by qualifications and experience. Please see the attached Role Description for additional information as well as minimum requirements for appointment to each classification.
