About the role
The Cloud Platform Manager at Origin plays a pivotal role in leading the Platform Services team. The successful candidate will be entrusted with the crucial responsibility of developing and maintaining Origin's cutting-edge cloud and infrastructure platforms, contributing to the company's
digital transformation and technological advancement.
This position will lead a small team of Senior DevOps engineers and engage with Origin’s diverse cloud and operations communities.

-Act as a technical leader & advisor within Cloud & Infrastructure Operations to inform and guide stakeholders towards the most effective IT outcomes.
-Build & lead a high-performing technology team, aligning strategy with business goals, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
-Provide expertise in cloud solutions, evaluate technology benefits, and ensure agile and innovative architectures.
-Lead the design of solutions that align with business strategy, define architectural principles, and analyse the cloud environments for improvements.
-Introduction, implementation and improvement of automation tools, principles, and processes.
-Build trusted advisory relationships with business and tech leaders, manage stakeholder relationships, and align technology strategy with business needs.
What you will bring
You will have demonstrated experience in another medium to enterprise organisation.

-Experience leading a high-performing technical team and fostering a culture of innovation.
-Deep understanding of AWS Services and Azure services architecture.
-Strong enterprise experience in building/deploying/supporting AWS/Azure workloads.
-Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple internal and external (strategic partners, suppliers etc) teams.
-Strong documentation skills including technical architecture diagrams and knowledge management articles.
-High competency
in coding and scripting – specifically Python.
-CI/CD pipeline and supporting tooling experience (Azure DevOps/Github Enterprise)
-Experience with containerisation (e.g. EKS, ECS, Kubernetes, Docker).
