Let’s talk about the role and responsibilities

  • Installation, configuration, tuning and management of servers (Windows Server 2008 R2, 2012 R2, 2016 & 2019).
  • Administer and support core Microsoft Windows Server, Windows AD and VMware technologies
  • Manage planned and unplanned server power outages, and well versed with pre and post-reboot server health checks.
  • Troubleshooting server resources utilization (CPU, MEMORY & DISK IO- s)
  • Perform activities related to change management (e.g., creating change requests, prepare for change create scripts, configuration files etc.) and all changes shall be managed through Change Control Procedures.
  • Working knowledge of DNS, DHCP, and Printer Management.
  • Hands on experience on VMware Virtualization and VMware ESXi Hypervisor installation and Configuration.
  • Hands-on experience with vSphere systems administration and support including VMotion, HA, DRS, Vcenter, and storage migrations.
  • Deploy Virtual Machines and use Clones, Snapshots, and templates.

Let’s talk about your capability and experience

  • Installation, configuration, tuning and management of servers (Windows Server 2008 R2, 2012 R2, 2016 & 2019).
  • Administer and support core Microsoft Windows Server, Windows AD , Exchange, NSX, Azure and/or AWS and VMware technologies
  • Hands on experience on VMware Virtualization and VMware ESXi Hypervisor installation and Configuration.
  • Hands-on experience with vSphere systems administration and support including VMotion, HA, DRS, Vcenter, and storage migrationsWorking knowledge of DNS, DHCP, and Printer Management
  • Basic knowledge in physical hardware configuration, support, and upgrade for hardware like, HP, Dell
    • Minimum 5 years Microsoft infrastructure deployment and operational support experience across MS product sets
    • Strong Level 3 Wintel experience
    • Public Key infrastructure experience
    • VMWare VCP
    • Hands on experience with Exchange, Azure and/or, and PowerShell
    • Thorough understanding of Cloud Computing: virtualization technologies, Infrastructure as a Service, Platform as a Service and Software as a Service
    • ITIL Foundations v3 Certification and ITIL Change Management processes
    • Strong scripting skills to support automation efforts (PowerShell)
    • Installation and Maintenance of Dell and HPE Enclosures and Servers
    • Build, Upgrade and Management of Windows Server - 2003 to 2022
    • Active Directory, Certificate Services (ADCS), Federation Services (ADFS), DNS, DHCP, DFS, Group Policy, FIM/MIM, File and Print services.
    • VMware vSphere vCentre including HA, DRS and SRM
    • Azure (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), Microsoft 365 and Azure AD including Authentication, Identity and Security services.
    • AWS experience will be beneficial
    • Exposure to Vulnerability Management - remediating security vulnerabilities in virtual server environment
