Our Federal Government Client, responsible for the national interest in cyber security, is looking for a Systems Administrator to support the management of Information Technology systems. This will include the planning, development, installation, configuration, maintenance, support, and optimisation of systems.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identify and analyse system performance issues, configuration discrepancies, and opportunities for optimisation, and work collaboratively with all stakeholders to recommend and implement remediation actions.
- Provide user support, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance of IT systems.
- Maintain security controls in adherence to organisational security policy, and implement new controls as required.
- Maintain administrative processes and manage the access rights and privileges of Departmental systems.
- Create and maintain system records and documentation.
- Manage automated process and script and automate new processes.
Job Skills and Qualifications:
- Three or more years experience in systems administration.
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Azure cloud technology knowledge and experience.
- Scripting and coding knowledge and experience in Python to automate tasks.
- Proven ability to work across Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Knowledge and experience in DevOps and DevSecOps practices.
- Knowledge and experience in Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)practices.
