About the Role
This role sits in the IT Engineering team which is responsible for assessing the Agency’s Corporate IT infrastructure to help plan, implement and deploy ongoing Essential Eight uplift and cloud modernisation projects.
The role will also be responsible for design, implementation, validation, and continuing maintenance of all assigned Systems and procedures, as well as configuring hybrid connectivity between on-site Systems and the cloud environment. The ideal candidate will be adaptable and able to operate independently, as well as cooperating across teams in a fast-paced atmosphere with several concurrent projects.
Skills and Experience
• Manage and administer the Microsoft 365 (M365) & Azure cloud environment, including provisioning, configuration, performance monitoring, policy governance and security
• Design, develop, and implement highly available, multi-region solutions within Microsoft Azure
• Design, configure and document cloud solutions through the use of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) toolsets and practices
• Develop and implement policy driven data protection best practices to ensure cloud solutions are protected from data loss
• Support cloud adoption of applications as they are being transformed and/or modernised
• Follow best practice methodologies and adhere to recognised ITIL processes (EG: Change/release)
Qualifications
- 5+ years of IT experience with 3+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure and engineering, including virtualisation, cloud, server, storage, networking, and XaaS
- Demonstrated experience in planning, designing, configuring, implementing and supporting the Microsoft 365 platform - including SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Teams / Phone, Intune MDM, Exchange Online, Azure Active Directory (Entra), Power Platform and Security
- Experience with Azure landing zones, blueprints, express route, load balancing, NSG, Azure networking, routing tables and VPN gateways
- Strong experience in DevOps and CI/CD including source control and deployment pipelines. • Expertise in cloud orchestration and monitoring technology
- Sound knowledge of Windows 10/11, Windows Server, and Windows Server fundamentals (AD, DNS, Group Policy etc)

Eligibility
• Ability to obtain and maintain national police check.
• Australian Citizenship is a condition of eligibility.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a higher clearance if required by the Agency.

Salary: This role offers between $94,456 - $106,563 plus 15.4% superannuation depending on skills and experience.
