One of Australia's most progressive Federal Government departments are looking to engage an experienced Microsoft 365 Cloud Architect/Security Architect to review and define improvements in regards to their technical design and security. You will also design and define a protected platform which can be easily and securely accessed by staff across the department. The role will be based in Canberra as well as remote work as flexible working arrangements are available. The successful Microsoft 365 Cloud Architect/Security Architect will be offered a 12 month contract with 4 X 6 monthsextension options.
The successfulMicrosoft 365 Cloud Architect/Security Architect will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Developing comprehensive architecture and design plans for Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online and SharePoint
- Implementing security best practices for Microsoft 365 to safeguard against data breaches
- Drafting Threat and Risk Assessments
- Developing the Security and Compliance backlogs for use in planning and prioritisation
The successful Microsoft 365 Cloud Architect/Security Architect will have experience in the following:
- Strong knowledge of Azure services and cloud architecture
- Relevant industry certifications such as Microsoft 365, CISSP and CCSP
- Proven experience in designing, implementing and managing Microsoft 365 cloud solutions and security measures
- Experience with data governance policies and data protection measures
