Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced person to join our team in a Club Operations role. Assisting with the day-to-day operations in a diverse environment. Reporting to the General Manager the Club Operations role will be involved in all aspects of Club Operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure the maintenance, development, and enhancement of the Bellerive Yacht Club's infrastructure and assets to the highest standards adhering to the strategic direction of the Club. Achieve these objectives and implement annual, biannual, and triennial maintenance programs for both water and land infrastructure, as well as boating assets.
Oversee the management of Boating Services to ensure the provision of financially viable services to members in a safe manner at the highest quality.
Responsible for operations of the club, ensuring smooth functioning and adherence to club policies and procedures.
Provide exceptional customer service to club members and guests, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and fostering a positive and inclusive club atmosphere.
Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency, streamline processes, and optimize resources to support the club's mission and objectives.
Qualifications and Skills:
Demonstrate practical aptitude for maintenance of equipment and structures within a marine environment.
MAST Approved recreational motorboat license or greater.
High Risk Work License (Forklift).
Manual Driver's License.
Current workplace level 2 first aid certificate.
VHF radio operator License.
Be able to supply satisfactory national police check.
Hold a working with children or vulnerable persons check.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate staff and volunteers.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Boat repair and maintenance experience
Demonstrated organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
Passion for the maritime industry and a commitment to promoting sailing and water sports.
