About the role

Opportunity for applicants who reside in the Brisbane region to work from home office and travel state wide.

CNC Application / Sales Engineers are a key point of contact for customers and company sales representatives providing both sales advice and after sales support for the product range.

They must have good communication, technical skills and know how to ask the right questions to get to the root of customer problems.

They articulate product positioning and show cost savings to both business and technical users. 

Identify technical issues and assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process.

Tasks typically involve:

• Providing and assisting customers in CNC cutting tools selections;
• Technical assistance and product education to customers;
• Servicing existing customers base state wide;
• Scheduling customer visits;
• Developing new customer relationships;
• Product quoting, negotiating pricing, contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs;
• Meeting sales targets.

The desired applicant must be:

• Worked within the machine tool industry;
• A CNC machinist or Mechanical Engineering with CNC experience;
• Willing to travel to visit customers;
• Strong computer skills;
• Strong communication skills;
• A commitment to delivering value to customers and dedicated to solve their machining problems;
• Be flexible and want to learn.

Candidates with previous sales experience will be highly regarded.
