Form of workA.B.U. Engineering is located in South Dandenong, we manufacture high quality precision engineering tooling & components for a variety of different industries. We currently have an opportunity for an experienced CNC Lathe Programmer and Machinist to join our team.
To be successful for this position it is essential to be able to:
Manufacture precision components on a CNC Lathe using CAD data and Mazatrol programming.
Experienced in high precision small to medium batch work.
Complete jobs on time and to a high quality standard.
Work together in a great team environment.
Need to identify and resolve problems.
Necessary Requirements:- 3+ years experience in Programming and operating a CNC lathe.
High mechanical engineering understanding.
The ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
The ability to Inspect and measure components to precise tolerances.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must be able to work with minimum supervision.
Your ability to be an effective team member combined with your capacity to work with minimum supervision, complete work on time and to a high quality is vital in securing this position.
