Cnc Lathe Programmer & Operator

Hercus Pty Ltd is currently seeking an CNC machinists to program and operate within our CNC Lathe sections

Work is mainly general engineering / jobbing / small production runs and working to drawings or samples.

Work is varied, sometimes challenging and all types of materials are machined.

You will possess the following:

• Will need a trade qualification in "Certification III in Engineering" or show relevant experience Programming & Operating on either a CNC Lathe or Mill (at least three years experience)
• Be fully conversant in Fanuc & Mazatrol control languages with experience in shop-floor programming in a medium or large capacity jobbing environment.
• Able to comprehensively read and understand engineering drawings.
• Able to use measuring instruments (working with metric and imperial measurements)
• Be prompt, reliable, efficient & ability to effectively work unsupervised.
• Have a professional attitude and a sound work ethic.
• Candidates with experience in horizontal boring / machining will be preferred
• Comply with our OHS standards
