We are looking for a self-motivated and results-driven operator to support our team in the role of a CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator. You will be programming files and using EnRoute for nesting and working alongside the design team. Also helping run Multicam Flatbeds Machines and a Vertical Wall Aluranger along with an Alubender for finishing.
The Role is for someone to join the team in a full-time capacity.
Proven competence in CNC machine setting and operating is essential. Further experience with our machines would be advantageous but not essential.
As the CNC/Router Operator you would be responsible for:-
Translate instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function
Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed correctly
Ability to read and interpret design drawings
Follow directions given to you by the Supervisor
Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
Ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing organizational priorities and problem-solving
An understanding of signage or similar would be advantageous
About you:-
Coming from a previous role where you have operated a similar machine, you may have been exposed to the signage, building or steel industries. You will possess some or most of the following:-
Prior machine operating experience within a manufacturing
CNC experience – desired
Strong computer skills, nesting and programming for production
Strong organizational and communication skills
Team player
Confident measuring items to cut
