SalaryPTE Services Pty Ltd (a member of the PTE Hydraulics Pty Ltd Group) is a premier Hydraulic Cylinder and Rotary Actuator manufacturer, operating out of Acacia Ridge in Brisbane's Southside. Currently we require the services of experienced, Cert III qualified CNC setter operators.
PTE boasts an extremely modern Workshop with over 30 CNC Machines, from 2 to 5 axis CNC Lathes, 3 to 5 Axis CNC Milling Machines, Robot Loaders and full Flexible Manufacturing Systems (FMS), with a further A$2.5M worth of CNC Machines still on their way. PTE are also currently embarking on a restructuring of all their 3 Factories, including insulating the roof of all our buildings, to improve our already excellent working condition.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
The Setting and operation of one or more of our 30 plus 2 to 9 axis multi functional Okuma and Mazak CNC lathes and machining centres, in addition to this you will also be setting both front loading, and bar feeders as well as CNC Gear Shapers and Robot Deburrers.
The successful applicant must have the ability to read, understand and or write CNC programs, select appropriate tooling for the task, manage the process, and make a proactive contribution to process and productivity improvements. Regular OT is available for the right applicant as are further advancements within our Company.

The successful applicant will be expected to join existing team members in driving continuous improvement through the application of lean manufacturing principles, training in this area will be provided.
The position is carried out within our factories in Acacia Ridge, our normal working hours are:
Day shift Afternoon shift
7am to 3.30pm Monday to Thursday 3.30pm to 12 midnight Monday to Thursday
7am to 12.20pm on Fridays 12.20pm to 5.40pm Fridays
PTE offers full time employment, excellent working conditions, and competitive above Award wages. The successful applicant can expect to earn a income of $71,000 to $80,000 per annum.
