Position Overview:
We are seeking multiple skilled Coach Builder / Body Builder or a trade-qualified Sheetmetal Engineer to join our dynamic manufacturing team. This is a
full-time role, offering 38 hours per week with 10:30am finish every Friday and opportunities for regular overtime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and complete fit-outs within trucks, trailers, and shipping containers. (Specialised training provided)
- Fabricate and fit stainless steel bench tops and frames.
- Install equipment for custom-built units.
- Read and interpret drawings and plans accurately.
- Trim and seal components as required.
- Ensure all work meets deadlines and complies with regulations.
- Adhere to OH&S guidelines and maintain a safe working environment.
Essential / Desired Skills:
- Experience in 12V electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
- Proficiency in trimming and sealing techniques.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and confidence in project ownership.
- Ability to work well within a team and independently.
- Knowledge of OH&S guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Coach / Body Building trade
- Sheetmetal engineer
- R.V. industry fit-outs is desired.
- Relevant trade qualifications or equivalent experience.
