The Sunshine Coast Coffee Roastery (SCCR) is an established and growing coffee roastery with reputable brand (S) within both the corporate and hospitality market. We have a strong focus on coffee machine maintenance (predominately automated coffee machines alongside our traditional line of coffee machines and grinders). We build long term business relationships with our customers whilst providing outstanding customer service both in house and field (predominately Sunshine Coast for this role).

Qualifications & experience

• Minimum 3 years’ experience working within the coffee industry is essential. Lateral thinking, technical diagnostics & trouble-shooting skillsExcellent customer service skillsExcellent communication skillsDrivers License essential
• The obvious, a passion for coffee Excellent workplace culture with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to deadlines. Organized, Structured demonstrating attention to detail.
• Basic computer literate Having a friendly, confident, and energetic personalityComfortable working as part of a team as well as independently Should have a good understanding of mental arithmeticHave a technical mindset with an interest in electrics .

Tasks & responsibilities

• Successful candidate would grow professionally and develop their skills with our Coffee Equipment line and transition to more complex diagnostic faults.
• Future progression would be to complete a restricted electrical license course and to become a full-time coffee machine technician. Monitoring incoming technical calls, identifying their complexity and urgency and distributing them to the appropriate members of our small team is essential
• Field Based Service Work including installation of Coffee Equipment, attending to breakdowns and routine scheduled servicing for our SCCR customer base (corporate mostly however plenty of opportunity to work with our traditional machines)
• Ensuring your client base has working and great condition equipment with no faults through performing routine service and cleaning checks.
• Equipment and barista training as required. Customer deliveries of coffee and other related products.
• Equipment maintenance including bench testing, parameters, and basic technical service. Supporting our customers with technical enquiries and diagnostics via phoneIdentification and dispatch of spare parts
