ABOUT US
SBP Australia has been building Cold Rooms since 1987. Having gained extensive experience in the construction of cold storage facilities, SBP Australia has become a leading and well-respected builder of cold storage facilities right across Australia.
THE ROLE
- Full-time Monday-Friday, regular opportunities for overtime and occasional weekend work
- Convenient location at our factory in Salisbury
- All training and tools supplied
SBP is eager to train the next generation of Door Builders and panel installers, while experience is beneficial, all training and tools will be supplied for the right candidate.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Cutting aluminium extrusions and insulated sandwich panels
- Assembly of frames and doors
- Loading and unloading of delivery trucks as required
- Maintaining a safe and tidy workspace
- Assisting other Door Builders and Modular Builders in the factory
REQUIREMENTS
- Eagerness to learn new techniques and systems
- Access to reliable transport
- Be able to work well as a member of a team
- Be compliant with all safety expectations – PPE and safe work practices
The following will be favourable but not mandatory:
- Prior labouring experience
- Construction White Card
- Forklift License
- Experience in insulated panel, Cold Room or freezer construction
