The Art Gallery of South Australia (AGSA) was founded in 1881 and its vision is to be the most inspiring art destination in Australia. Role Details

The Collection Database Officer is responsible for the maintenance and ongoing day to day functionality of the Art Gallery of South Australia s collection management system (CMS). Through the development and application of museum best practice, the Collection Database Officer will support and advise on collections information management, connectivity and reporting. Contribute to the maintenance, integrity and security of the AGSA CMS. Contribute to the management and documentation of the collection and works of art in AGSA s care. Provide ongoing advice and support for the future development of the CMS. Liaise with AGSA ICT regarding testing, review and implementation of CMS requirements. Contribute to the ongoing development and maintenance of the Collection Database. Assist with the modification and development of CMS reports, updating the database user registry and improving the utility of the CMS. Assist in the implementation of the AGSA loans and touring programs.

Special Conditions

  • The Incumbent will be required to participate in the department's Performance Management Program.
  • The Incumbent may be assigned to another position at this remuneration level or equivalent.
  • Some work outside of normal hours will be required.
  • This role requires a National Criminal History check.

$66,590 - $70,968 p.a.
