The opportunity:
Our Investment and Capital Transactions line of business are currently seeking a Commercial Analyst / Senior Commercial Analyst to join the team based in our Rhodes Office. Reporting to the Commercial Director, the Commercial Analyst will be responsible for providing financial, analytical, research and strategic support to the Capital Transactions team and broader Investments business..
Responsibilities
As the successful applicant, this role will see your responsibilities include:
- Transaction origin including investigation of legal and capital structures for acquisition / capital transaction opportunities
- Assist with origination of debt, liaise with potential financiers and negotiate loan facility terms
- Relationship management with existing capital partners; manage debt relationship with financier, ensuring all reporting and facility covenants are met
- Ensure accurate financial reporting to capital partners
- Prepare accurate and reliable financial models, financial analysis of financial model outputs including scenario analysis
- Maintain and update financial models and analyse financial impacts of changes in forecasts; provide research on relevant sectors
- Assist with preparation and presentations for both internal and external stakeholders including internal reports for board and investment committee
Requirements
You may have all or some of the following skills & experience:
- A relevant qualification in finance, accounting, property economics or similar.
- Previous experience in the financial services and/or property industry with a background in valuations or property finance highly regarded
- Strong financial analytical and modelling skills with experience with Argus highly regarded
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
