Job description

Mobile Kitchens is Australia's leading supplier of temporary & modular commercial kitchens, supplying a range of industry sectors including Defence, Mining, Emergency Services and Hospitality.

Due to ongoing growth we now require an experienced & qualified in house Service Technician to join our team in Brisbane to establish, manage & lead our appliance maintenance and repairs division. 

Rolls & Responsibilities

  • Initial establishment of the equipment maintenance division at our large Banyo facility
  • Maintain equipment on an ongoing basis, including all commercial food service equipment as well as refrigeration and air conditioning
  • Preparing, installing and commissioning equipment into kitchens at pre-mobilisation stage
  • Travel interstate to assist with installation and commissioning of kitchens as required (generally the larger jobs)
  • Maintenance of electrical systems in modular kitchens

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Electrical trade qualification
  • Refrigerant Handling Licence & Gas Service Licence
  • Drivers & forklift licence (Ideal but not mandatory)
  • Good mechanical and fault finding experience
  • Commercial food service equipment and refrigeration experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer and parts management skills
