Position Overview: We are currently seeking an experienced and driven Commercial Banker/Broker to join our team. As a Commercial Banker/Broker , you will play a crucial role in handling the complex and commercial lending needs of our clients. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clients and access all leads provided by the brokerage group. This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading brokerage group and make a significant impact in the commercial lending space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of clients and provide expert advice on commercial lending solutions.
- Assess clients' financing needs and recommend suitable loan products.
- Liaise with lenders, solicitors, and other stakeholders to facilitate loan applications and ensure a smooth transaction process.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with lenders on behalf of clients.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and market developments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, referral partners, and industry contacts.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in commercial banking or brokering.
- Strong understanding of commercial lending products, policies, and procedures.
- Proven track record of success in managing complex commercial lending transactions.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant qualifications in finance, business, or related field preferred.
- Accreditation with industry bodies such as the Mortgage & Finance Association of Australia (MFAA) or the Finance Brokers Association of Australia (FBAA) is advantageous.
