Commercial & Data Analyst (12 Month Contract Position)

ANC are a last mile delivery and direct to consumer (D2C) specialist, partnering with many large and emerging retail and e-commerce customers. This position is a fixed-term (12 month) contract role, reporting to the Group Commercial Manager.

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Supporting the Group Commercial Manager, Sales Analyst and Project Manager
• Collect, analyse and deliver insights relating to ESG and electrification of fleet
• Provide data and insights to support the electrification project deliverables
• Identifying profit improvement opportunities and evaluate impact of initiatives to profitability
• Re-evaluate Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) gap between Green and Brown on a regular basis based on latest market data
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing & Strategy, Operations and Finance teams to grow margins and drive favourable commercial outcome for new and existing clients
• Evaluate efficiency and allocation opportunities to consolidate runs, expand post code zoning etc.
• Act as the Advanced Data Analytical Support

Skills & Experience Required:

• Minimum of 2 years business/commercial experience
• Proven track record in providing detailed pricing, commercial analysis and margin/profitability analysis to key stakeholders
• A logical approach to problem-solving combined with the ability to conceptualize and think creatively
• Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills are essential
• Excellent presentation and communication skills and experience in presenting complex information to a variety of stakeholders
• Practical experience in using PowerPivot and Power BI
• Data Analytical support in building key models for all stakeholders
• Data Gathering and data cleansing
• Ability to work autonomously and prioritise workload to meet deadlines
• Bachelor Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting will be highly regarded
