The role
We have an opportunity for a high performing and experienced Trademark Lawyer to join our highly regarded and awarded IP practice. The role will see you working closely with one of our Partners as a key member of this growing practice, you will work on a broad range of Commercial IP and Trade Mark matters including:
- Trade Marks, Designs, Domain Name clearance, prosecution and enforcement
- Commercial agreements with an IP focus
- IP, technology, software licensing
- Corporate transactions with an IP, IT/ technology focus
- IP advisory work
Our clients include a diverse range of Australian and international companies in fields such as technology, consumer electronics, content, entertainment, gaming, software, beverages, FMCG, retail, fashion, mining, and financial services.
About You
As our successful candidate you should be able to demonstrate a desire, and the capacity, to work on high profile and technically challenging transactions. You should be an ambitious high performer, looking to work in an environment where your performance will be duly recognised and rewarded accordingly.
In addition, you will have:
- 3-6 years post admission experience within the trademarks space
- Superior analytical, communications and drafting skills
- Commercial awareness and the ability to work effectively with clients
- The ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment
