Our client is a global insurer with strong APAC footprint. In line of its increasing emphasis on Social Sustainability, they are looking for a product innovation specialist to join the dot between driving commercial outcome and social impact.
Job Description
Reporting to the Regional Chief Sustainability Officer with dotted line to Regional Head of Product Management, this role will be a newly created one with dedicated focus on driving product innovation in insurance sector with the ultimate goal of driving social impact.
Working in the sustainability team alongside with different ESG specialist with respective specialisation, you will be acting as the Product champion for Commercial Social Sustainability - by liaising with different internal stakeholders (e.g. product, investment, operation etc) to come up with the new thematic products based on market trends and consumer behaviour/preference so as to develop the new market and customer base while being able to drive (and evaluate) social impact and well-being across broader community to achieve win-win situation.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate should be very familiar with insurance product strategy and innovation with strong understanding and interest in social impact/sustainability subject matters (e.g. micro-financing, micro-insurance, social impact investment etc). Hence prior insurance industry experience is a must.
Alternatively candidates from strategy consultancy firms or regulatory bodies or non-profit organisations/industry associations with dedicated focus on insurance sector will also be considered.
Ideally the candidates should be based in Singapore ideally but can also be based in other global locations.
