The Role

Working from our Campbell Street Campus in Hobart, the Communications and Research Specialist will play a pivotal role in the Office of the CEO, providing extensive support to the CEO to improve engagement with internal and external stakeholders, through various channels, and be one part of TasTAFE’s communications framework.

We are open to considering part-time arrangements.

On any given day, you will:

  • Enact a strategic communications plan that aligns with TasTAFE’s organisational pathways
  • Initiate, manage and review the efficacy of events arising from the Office of the CEO
  • Facilitate strategies to engage stakeholders across all levels and mediums
  • Research, collaborate, and gather data to craft compelling content and messages from the CEO

What you bring:

  • Expertise in preparing versatile communications across various platforms, specialising in crafting corporate messages.
  • Proficiency in project coordination, organisation, deadline management, and collaborative teamwork
  • Contemporary writing, editing, and Research skills for clear, concise, audience-tailored communications
  • Astute research and problem-solving skills, analysing information and recommending effective solutions
  • Prior experience in delivering internal and external communications

You will require a current Working with Vulnerable People registration, or the ability to obtain one prior to commencement.
