Job description

The CPB Contractors, Ghella & UGL joint venture has been successful in securing the contract to deliver the $3.1bn M6 Stage 1 project. The project will deliver the missing link from Sydney's south to the wider Sydney motorway network making journeys easier, faster and safer. It will remove more than 2,000 trucks a day from surface roads and help return local streets to local communities.
With works commencing in early 2022, the M6 Stage 1 project scope includes the construction of twin four-kilometre tunnels and associated works, linking the M8 Motorway at Arncliffe to President Avenue at Kogarah.
The Opportunity
The M6 Stage 1 Project is looking for a motivated and conscientious Communications Undergraduate to assist primarily with our internal communications.
Key Accountabilities

  • Research and write 'good news stories' for the project.
  • Creation of graphics and video content to support communications.
  • Upload content to intranet/website.
  • Assist with management of visual assets.
  • Photograph people and events.
  • Support the implementation of the project Reward & Recognition program.
About You
  • Currently studying a degree in Communications, Marketing or equivalent at University.
  • Strong written communication skills with demonstrated experience in writing internal communications.
  • Interest in photography / videography.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Comfortable with learning new technology & systems.
  • Can-do attitude.
  • Be available to work 3 days a week.
The successful candidate will be required to hold a current Construction Industry Induction Card (White Card or equivalent) and undergo a medical assessment (including drug and alcohol testing) prior to commencement.
