Community Care Workers & Domestic Assistants

What will you do:

Domestic Assistance: 

• General home/domestic duties (cleaning, shopping and respite)
• Support clients to maintain or develop independent living skills
• Take immediate action in an emergency to ensure the safety of clients, themselves and the community
• Develop effective, positive and respectful working relationship with clients
• Follow infection control guidelines
• Participate in staff development programs

Care Workers: 

• Provide personal care and support to individuals in their own home, including assistance with showering, dressing and bathing.
• Medication assistance
• Food preparation
• General welfare checks
• Assistance with activities (medical appointments, allied health, etc)
• Transport to and from medical appointments and social outings
• Supporting people with complex medical needs

To be successful in this role you will need:

• Care Workers Minimum Cert III in Aged Care, Disability, Individual Support or similar
• Current Criminal History Check (or willing to obtain)
• Working with Children's Check (or willing to obtain)
• NDIS Worker Screen (or willing to obtain)
• Current Senior First Aid/CPR (or willing to obtain)
• Current drivers licence & own reliable car, with insurance
