An excellent opportunity for a community-minded person to support accessibility and inclusion in Darwin.
Engaging across our diverse community, the role works to ensure equitable access to services and facilities. The role also provides key support in the implementation of the Reconciliation Action Plan.
The successful candidate will:
- Work alongside a committed and welcoming team in the Community and Cultural Services area of City of Darwin
- Provide expertise in the development, implementation and monitoring of City of Darwin's current and future Access and Inclusion Strategies
- Work collaboratively with government and non-government agencies, community groups, individuals and internal stakeholders in the initiation and implementation of Community Development endeavours
- Administer and implement the Community Grants Program
- Develop partnerships and build capacity of community groups
- Represent City of Darwin on relevant external committees including DiversAbility Collective
- Support the implementation of City of Darwin's current and future Reconciliation Action Plans.
