Your Opportunity
As our Community Fundraising Coordinator, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving impactful fundraising initiatives that directly contribute to our mission of creating safer homes and stronger communities.
In this role you will take the lead in coordinating our Steps For Safe Homes campaign, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure its success. You will be the point of contact for Community Fundraising participants and sponsors and will have a heavy focus on Social Media engagement and management, crafting compelling content and leveraging digital platforms to amplify our message and drive fundraising efforts forward.
This role offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of fundraising and would be a great opportunity for anyone who has recently graduated or are looking for an entry into fundraising teams and activities.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
Monitor and respond to enquiries from CF dedicated email and phone line
Coordinate (CF only) social media communication, including distribution, posting and moderation
Assist with Authority to Fundraise enquiries and requests
Assist production of digital content (copy, design, artwork, campaign codes, stats and case stories etc.)
Assist briefing our Supporter Relations Team on campaign launch and specifics regarding the campaign
Coordinate activities with external agencies, including organising promotional merchandise, Welcome Packs
Assist reporting, presentations, invoicing and general administrative tasks as required
Requirements for Success
Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in a digital/fundraising capacity e.g. as a social media coordinator, digital marketing assistant or in a Community Fundraising support role
Intermediate experience using Meta Business (Facebook, Instagram)
Demonstrated ability to provide high quality customer service and project coordination support
Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with both internal teams and external suppliers/agencies
Ability to consistently prioritise and triage priorities in order to meet deliverables and adequately support Community Fundraising campaigns, primarily for the Steps For Safe Homes campaign
You are personable, enthusiastic and proactive in your approach to work and have strong written and verbal communication skills
Before starting work with us, you will need to undertake a national police history check, qualifications, and referee checks, and have a clearance to work with children/vulnerable people.
