The Organisation – National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) The National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) is Australia's leading not-for-profit organisation funding world-class breast cancer research towards  their   vision of Zero Deaths  from breast cancer.

The Role:
  
Reporting to the Head of Community Fundraising, this position will be key in driving the development and execution of the Do It Yourself (DIY) portfolio of Community Fundraising campaigns.
  
This is a critical role to ensure fundraising is maximised across each campaign to ensure maximum number of fundraisers are recruited through acquisition strategies and fundraising goals of fundraisers are exceeded through tailored engagement strategies.
  
You will have strategic oversight of the DIY portfolio responsible for leading new product development, project managing the execution by working with internal teams and agencies and, creating and testing digital communication journeys that will acquire and retain fundraisers.
  
  
The DIY Community Fundraising Manager will also have leadership responsibility for a direct report, the Community Fundraising Executive. It will suit a proactive and curious Community Fundraising professional, eager to bring forward new ideas that will help drive campaign growth. 
  
Key Responsibilities:
  

  • Develop stakeholder engagement strategies to identify how and when internal and external stakeholders will be engaged and communicated with through the delivery of each DIY Community Fundraising Campaign.
  • Create briefs for agencies and oversee supplier management to ensure seamless execution.
  • Collaborate with the MarTech team for the development of campaign sites and optimisation of relevant web pages, with support from the communications teams.
  • Design recruitment and multi-channel engagement plans for acquisition including content writing to recruit participants.
  • Supervise the retention journey across the entire campaign portfolio.
  • Take charge of digital marketing initiatives throughout the campaign journey, involving data mining and comprehensive campaign analysis reporting.
  • Formulate campaign strategies and craft key messaging for effective campaign development.
  • Modify and enhance campaign communications as needed to address underperforming areas and achieve campaign targets.
  • Implement targeted fundraiser journeys across multiple channels (SMS, EDMs, and phone calls) for each campaign and develop copy for fundraiser deliverables to engage participants.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationship with new and existing high-value fundraisers ensuring a personalized approach to stewardship.
  • Management of the production of merchandise relevant to campaigns.
  • Deliver regular reports on campaign performance, covering acquisition, high-value fundraising, mass fundraising, budgets, and income targets.
  •  Conduct post-campaign analysis to collect feedback and provide recommendations for future campaigns.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop your direct reports within the team.
  
  
Skills & Attributes
  
  • Relevant experience in fundraising, community development, marketing.
  • Proven project management skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask.
  • Demonstrated skill and experience in facilitation of fundraising initiatives and/or programs.
  • Strong digital marketing and campaign analysis capabilities with the confidence in using CRM systems for tracking and reporting. 
  • Strategic thinking, with the ability to make recommendations and present innovative and data-driven ideas.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence & engage.
  • Highly motivated and able to take initiative.
  • Ability to lead and inspire others.
