Toosey Aged and Community Care, nestled in the heart of Longford, Tasmania, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Community Operations Manager to join our team on a permanent part-time basis. 

This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact within our community-focused organisation. This position will be part of the Executive Management Team and will be a Key Personnel for the organisation. 

The Position

Key Responsibilities.

  • Manage commercial and operational reporting, ensuring compliance, including budgeting and forecasting.
  • Supervise resource allocation processes, including rostering and fleet planning.
  • Develop and oversee health and wellbeing programs for the Community Program, including Home Care packages and Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP).
  • Provide leadership and supervision to Home Care and CHSP staff, supporting staff training and development programs.
  • Collate and determine Commonwealth requirements and quality indicators.
  • Regularly evaluate program services to align with Toosey’s Community Program goals.
  • Undertake community liaison for client engagement opportunities.
  • Comply with all regulatory compliance. 
  • Contribute to the development and reporting of the Community Business Improvement Plan.
  • Ensure compliance with organisational policies and guidelines, understanding and aligning with Toosey's strategic aims and objectives, and demonstrating effective delegation skills.

About You.

  • Previous experience within a commercial role, preferably within Aged Care or similar.
  • Strong analytical skills, with a high degree of attention detail. 
  • Experience in compliance and risk management.
  • Strong computer literacy including advanced MS Excel skills. 
  • Highly developed communication, interpersonal skills and the ability to foster teamwork.
  • Leadership, management, and supervisory ability.
  • Analytical ability, initiative and capacity to exercise independent judgement.
