About the role:
This role is a community / mobile Occupational Therapist position, aimed to provide services to clients within their home and community. 
Our clients have sustained severe injuries and the focus is client-centred, allowing them to get back to life and the tasks they truly love, thus supporting their social participation and supporting their mental health and reintegration in meaningful tasks.
In the role, we complete a variety of functional, cognitive, and care based assessments, as well as implementing therapy to work toward our client's goals. 
This role will provide diversity in applying your skills in a variety of schemes including working with New South Wales' most vulnerable workers compensation claims, and navigating the National Disability Insurance Scheme. 
To be successful for this position, you need to hold a current Australian Driver Licence, and have access to your own vehicle. 
We are happy to offer a variety of Full-Time, Part-Time positions for the successful candidates. 
Responsibilities:
Occupational Therapy specific assessment and interventions working with adults with: age-related diagnoses, neurological conditions from traumatic injuries and progressive diagnoses, mental illness, and physical disabilities
Completing one-on-one therapy such as: cognitive rehabilitation for ADL planning, routine establishment and retraining, participation in meaningful occupations, upper limb therapy, and equipment trial and prescription
Conducting functional needs assessments under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and Workers Compensation Scheme to assist with advocating our client's needs and goals
Liaising with key personnel involved in the client's rehabilitation journey to ensure continuum of care is maintained. This includes referrers, other allied health staff, and family as requested by the client
High standard of clinical documentation and report writing, relating to clinical findings and recommendations within a timely manner

We are fortunate to work within specialist schemes, providing assessment, recommendation, and rehabilitative therapy to clients who have sustained complex injuries including Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), multi-trauma, burns, and amputations, allowing us to work with vulnerable and disadvantaged individuals. 
We are also a registered NDIS provider and provide support to clients under the National Disability Insurance Scheme, living with age related conditions, and general health diagnoses.
