Casey Fields is South East Melbourne’s Premier Sports and Recreation precinct. It is home to two professional sporting clubs, Melbourne Demons (AFL/AFLW) and Melbourne City Football Club (A-League/A-League W), and regularly hosts state level and nationally televised events in sports such as cricket, rugby league, athletics and BMX.

A bit about the role

In the Community Sport Officer role, you will promote the development and participation of sport and leisure activities within the City of Casey.

What you’ll deliver

• Support to existing and emerging sporting clubs including monitoring of Council’s tenancy agreements
• Seasonal ground allocations
• Timely follow up of community facility enquires including maintenance issues and amenity request.
• Assistance with special projects, Functions and Joint Use Agreements with schools

• Building influential partnerships with local to elite sporting clubs.
