Community Support Worker - Aod - Northern Territory Location

Opportunity for a Community Support Worker with AOD experience to make a meaningful impact in the lives of Indigenous communities.

Curis Recruitment is proud to partner with a fantastic Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation in the Northern Territory, who are seeking a compassionate and culturally aware Indigenous-identifying individual to work as a Community Support Worker in AOD.

• Based in the Katherine region of the Northern Territory
• Competitive salary dependent on experience
• Permanent, full-time role

In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering culturally appropriate interventions and support services to community members struggling with AOD issues. The service is required to promote individual and community wellbeing and reduce substance abuse through the provision of holistic, culturally appropriate alcohol and other drug harm minimisation, education, treatment, rehabilitation and after care services.

Requirements for this role

• Cert II in Community Services/Family Wellbeing or similar
• Current NT Driver’s License
• Working with Children’s Clearance (OCHRE Card)
• National Police Certificate
• COVID 19 vaccination certificate
